Blythewood Manor Bed Breakfast is located in the historic Bampfield Hall, built in 1872, and set in an ideal quiet location just off scenic River Road. Many have described the home as a historic gothic beauty. Decorated in Victorian fashion, with antiques in every room, you will feel like you have gone back into an era of elegance.
All rooms are outfitted with a queen or king size bed, and all with private ensuite bathrooms, some with jacuzzi tubs.
Come and take in all the elegance and charm of the Victorian era, while enjoying all the modern conveniences and luxuries.
Historic/Heritage Details:
Located in a historic/heritage designated building circa 1872, built in the Gothic Revival and Second empire styles of architecture with a tower, mansard and jerkin head roof, etched glass, curved staircase, and inlaid patterned hardwood floors.

Hot Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 10:30 by reservation
We offer a choice of several hot breakfasts including authentic malted Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, savoury bacon, eggs and homefries, delicious cinnamon french toast, and fluffy buttermilk pancakes with your choice of plain or chocolate chip.
When you check in we will inform you of what choices are available during your stay.
For lighter fare we always offer yogurt with fresh fruit, fruit salad, or just simply toast or english muffins.

- Gluten free options (Stef is Gluten intolerant, so we have many GF items)
- Vegetarian & Vegan options
- Sugar free syrup & preserves

Adult Oriented: Yes. We will accommodate children between the ages of 12 - 16 only. We have one roll away bed if needed so please let us know if you need it upon booking.
Jester Suite is adults only.
Smoking: No. Smoking is permitted on the wrap-around veranda.
Pet Policies: Pet(s) in Owner's Quarters Only. We do not allow guests to bring pets, in consideration for people's allergies.
We have cats that are only permitted in our private areas, and never have access to guest areas.

Booking Conditions

We require a seven days cancellation.
TAXES: We charge GST only, which is 5% on top of your room rate.
TAX UPDATE: As of July 1st 2010 everyone in Ontario, including us, is required to charge 13% HST (which replaces all previous taxes)
Prices include breakfast.
-We require guests to leave street shoes in foyer. We encourage you to bring house shoes or slippers.
-No candles allowed, but flameless candles are provided in each room for use during your stay.
