A mere 10 minutes from the downtown core are the Gatineau Hills and Park, which offer outstanding recreational opportunities and breathtaking views. 363 square kilometres provide an unspoiled setting for fans of cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities. In the forests of Gatineau Park can be found 60-odd species of trees, a wide variety of animals and countless crystalline lakes.
