Start Up Instructions

The following instructions are contained on the CanVisit site and are intended to give you a step-by-step procedure for creating and activating your personal web site.


1. Joining


Go to CanVisit.com and click on "Join Now" in the top purple menu. You will be asked to follow a brief registration process. After completing the registration you will be taken to your "Host Home Office" where you can create your own CanVisit web site.


2. Creating Your CanVisit Site

If you are a new host, please follow the steps below to get started easily. Review other properties on CanVisit web sites to familiarize yourself with the kind of information required. Ensure that you have at hand the photos (up to 11) and the write-ups that will be required for you to create your web site.


3. Using Your Calendar

To begin using your CanVisit reservation system, you must update your calendar in the CanVisit system and ensure that you have your calendar settings in place. This will allow you to activate your CanVisit reservation system.

4. Activating and Setting your Calendar

This calendar is designed to give you maximum control over your property while maintaining the flexibility that you require. Click on "Activating and Setting your Calendar" to make your personal choices and activate your reservation system.


5. Check Availability Link

If you already have another web site it is extremely important to install the "CanVisit Check Availability" link on your outside site. This will optimize your overall effectiveness for Visitors.
