Room Description
This room is decorated in the style of an Italian, Victorian era bed/sitting room: gilded Florentine chandelier, a fireside velvet love seat and ladies writing desk add to the old world charm. Raw silk curtains frame the windows of this " room with a view"...a view that takes in the golf course and lake beyond. A second large curved glass window overlooks the side garden and wisteria arbour. The bathroom chandelier, with its amber glass, sets off the playful cherub border and marble flooring complements the large corner shower. Relaxing in the duvet covered king/twin bed with its whimsical, upholstered and gilded iron headboard gives a wonderful view of the hand painted sky ceiling complete with clouds and doves. This room is romantic and restful.
