In the early days of Upper Canada, a stage coach running between Niagara and Queenston regularly stopped to change horses at the "Halfway House", now 15540 Niagara Parkway.
This historic Neo-classical Inn has since been renovated to accommodate our guests, with elegance and in grandeiose comfort, while maintaining the original historical charm of the bygone era.
The Coach Stop is located on the scenic Niagara Parkway, just two miles from both the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Shaw Festival Theatre, while being just steps away from award-winning local wineries.
We are confident that once you experience a stay at the Coach Stop, fond memories will forever remain in your heart.
Historic/Heritage Details: This large historic home was built circa 1800 by a retired Butler's Ranger and it operated as an inn and stage coach stop until the 1820's.
The Coach Stop Bed & Breakfast is among the oldest residences in the Niagara region, as it was one of the few homes to survive the war of 1812.
