Welcome, bienvenue, benvenuti, bienvenidos to our Canadian Monticello! Our modern, artistic home with watercolour prints, international posters and handcrafted furniture awaits you on a quiet street. We are minutes from Shaw Festival, the bicycle path, the Niagara Parkway and most wineries.
Le Grand Jardin and Le petit jardin offer Queen beds, cherry furnishings, floral duvets, ensuite or private bath, bar fridge, TV, VCR, telephone, as well as many movies and magazines. Relax in our guest library or on our peaceful deck with complimentary lemonade or ice tea. Enjoy your first cup of coffee as you stroll through our colourful gardens, where a symphony of tulips,irises and roses await you. You will delight in Leon's pond and bonsai collection. A sumptuous gourmet breakfast, prepared with our own fresh herbs and vegetables,is an important part of the Monticello experience. Breakfast is served on our deck, by the pond, in summer. We encourage you to use our complimentary 10-speed bicycles, or if you simply want to unwind, one of our many movies and magazines. A third person, adult or child, can be accommodated in the adjancent den where we have one posturepedic twin bed.

Breakfast Provided: Full. A delightful gourmet breakfast served outside, weather permitting, amid the back gardens and pond. Both Maria and Leon love to cook and will tempt you with their creative entrees. Our three-course breakfast consists of gourmet coffee,specialty teas and fruit juices, a fresh fruit creation, hot seasonal fruit muffins or croissants, along with one of our specialties, including baked Eggs Monticello, omelette in pastry, banana orange French toast, cranberry almond pancakes, apple-raisin strata, and flaky zucchini quiche, just to name a few!
Area and Landmark: Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cenotaph (Clock Tower).
Travel Time to Landmark: 15-20 minute walk, 4-5 minute drive.
Air Conditioned: Yes.
Adult Oriented: Young children welcome. We are a family of three: Leon,Maria and Antonia,our delightful Guatemalan toddler whose smile we are sure will entertain you!If you have children, please call ahead to make special arrangements for them.

Booking Conditions
|
A $35/night deposit is required to reserve either room.
Cancellation more than 72 hours before: $10 is refunded, $25 retained as service charge. We will apply this amount to a future stay, if you rebook.
Cancellation less than 72 hours: one full night stay ($125/$100)
From May-October, we have a two-night minimum stay on week-ends.
