The house at 494 Simcoe Street was built in the Cape Cod style and is in its sixteenth year of operation as a B and B. It sits on one-third of an acre of beautiful perennial gardens which have been featured on television (HGTV) and in the press (Canadian Living).
Most of our guests are patrons of the Shaw Festival who return every year. One of the owners is an actor, and a number of our guests are in theatre, film or television.
The two sitting-rooms and the three bedrooms are decorated with furniture, pictures and porcelain from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries collected by several generations of the family.
Guests are served a three-course breakfast on a covered terrace overlooking the garden with its pond and swimming-pool (weather-permitting) or in the dining room.
The property is a quiet oasis on the south side of the Old Town, within pleasant walking distance of the theatres, shops, and restaurants. It is also home to one civilised cat.

Breakfast Provided: Full. Breakfast begins with fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and homemade cereal and is followed by varying hot egg dishes and ends with muffins, scones or sweet bread.
Area and Landmark: Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cenotaph (Clock Tower).
Travel Time to Landmark: 15-20 minute walk, 4-5 minute drive.
Air Conditioned: Yes.
Adult Oriented: Yes. Most of our guests are patrons of the Shaw Festival.
Smoking: No. Smoking on the terrace and in the garden.
Pet Policies: Pet(s) in Residence. One very friendly and civilized cat in residence who is out of doors much of the summer and not permitted in the bedrooms.
Wheelchair Accessibility: No.
Swimming Pool or Hot Tub: The inground pool is open from mid-May until mid-Sept.

| Five percent GST is added to our rates. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a reservation. Two week's notice is required for a cancellation. |
