Alfred's Coach House is a gracious Colonial style home located in the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering a wonderful alternative to hotels, affording not only privacy and spacious quarters, but a personal touch. Situated one short block from Lake Ontario, our home is within 10 minutes walking distance of the town center.
There is no shortage of things to enjoy when you visit with us, including the Shaw Festival, shopping, wine tasting, antiquing, fine dining and golf. Ride the bike trails along the Niagara River and through Wine Country. Walk to the Prince of Wales for afternoon tea. Pamper yourself at the newly renovated spa at the Pillar & Post or the elegant new O Spa at the Oban Inn.
When you return from your busy day, relax in the lovely guest lounge, in the garden by the heated pool, in the gazebo under the stately old willow or in your spacious, private guest suite.
The LAKEWOOD has a cozy northern cottage atmosphere and features King bed, a skylit 4 piece bath with tub, as well as a large, separate, private sitting room with double sofa bed, T.V. and electric fireplace.
The COUNTRY LANE suite has a charming country decor and features a King/Twin bed, private bath with walk-in shower, as well as a separate, private sitting room with T.V. and electric fireplace.
The SEABREEZE has a beachy, coastal decor and features King bed, a skylit, private bath with walk-in shower, as well as a large sitting area with electric fireplace and T.V. overlooking pool and garden.
All rooms also have hairdryers, bar fridges and available WiFi access.

Breakfast Provided: Full. Our breakfasts change daily and our menu every year. We serve a three course hot breakfast and do cater to diet restrictions. Breakfast is served in the formal dining room and includes fresh pastries/muffins, fresh fruit, and a full hot entree.
Area and Landmark: Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cenotaph (Clock Tower).
Travel Time to Landmark: 11-20 minute walk, 3-5 minute drive.
Air Conditioned: Yes.
Adult Oriented: Yes. Though we understand your desire to holiday with your children, our home is not child proof and contains many antiques. Children may only be accommodated if all rooms are booked by the same family group.
Smoking: No. Smoking permitted outside only.
Pet Policies: Pet Free.
Wheelchair Accessibility: No.
Swimming Pool or Hot Tub: Swimming Pool. Our large heated pool is available to guests.

Booking Conditions

A valid Visa or MC number & expiry date is required to confirm reservations.
Cancellatons at least 7 daysprior to stay are subject to a charge of $50 per room night and $25 admin fee applied to the card on file. Cancellations within 48 hourse or no shows owe full balance unless room can be rebooked.
Please advise us of any food allergies or dietary needs at time of booking.
