Lyons House Bed & Breakfast circa 1835
"A Bed & Breakfast in Niagara on the Lake "
We are inviting you to step back in time and enjoy the splendor of yesterdays in our magnificent Regency house located in the heart of the historic district of Niagara on the Lake.
Historic/Heritage Details: Built in 1835 by John Lyons and his wife Catherine, the Lyons House is an excellent example of Regency architecture. The house is in pristine condition largely due to its previous owners Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jones, who contracted Peter JohnStokes to restore it in 1965. Mr. Stokes’ famous devotion to detail and authenticity enable us to enjoy this gem of the past. Eric Broughton, who owned the house before we acquired it in 2002, handed us a 167 year old key
and a legacy of heritage preservation.
